Mondays from 18:20 until 20:40
(Chanting, 2 x 35′ meditation (zazen), followed by tea)
Thursdays from 19:00 until 20:40
(Chanting, 2 x 30′ meditation (zazen), followed by tea)
Saturdays from 9:00 until 11:00
(Chanting, 2 x 30′ meditation (zazen), followed by tea)
Interviews
Kong-An interviews with authorized teachers of the Kwan Um School of Zen and consulting interviews with Senior Dharma teachers are available on a regular basis.
Monthly Zen retreats
In general, a Zen-day (Saturday or Sunday) or a Zen Retreat (weekend) is offered every month. For more information pls click on the events section.
Introductory classes and dharma talks
in german and english are given on every 1st thursday of the month at 18:30

By becoming a member of the Kwan Um School of Zen Austria, you help support its ongoing practice and programs. As a member you will receive reduced fees for retreats (Costs) and programs at your Zen Center and at other Zen Centers of the Kwan Um School of Zen. You’ll also receive the School’s journal, Primary Point, and its newsletter online.
Monthly membership fee:
– €10,- Supporting member (1) or underage member (age16-18)
– €15,- reduced (2) full member
– €20,- Full member or Dharma teacher (in training and senior Dharma teacher) reduced (2)
– €30,- Dharma (in training) and Senior Dharma teacher
– €50,- or €80,- Sponsorship member (3)
(1) This is a passive support membership, not entitled to reduced price at events
(2) Reduced price is possible for unemployed, pupils, students and retirees, others on request.
(3) Free admission to all events of the Kwan Um School of Zen Austria
