You are warmly invited to come to our house-warming party, Christmas caroling and classical concert.
It starts with singing. We have sung in English, German, Polish, Hindi and Czech, and welcome anyone bringing songs to teach us in yet another language (We provide song sheets in English, so please bring your songs printed out). Also, any instruments you play would be most welcome.
Later at 7 we are very happy to have professionals performing a classical music concert.
Eun Jung Lee (flute), Julia Reth (harp) and Wolfgang Golds (flute) will be playing for us a variety of classical pieces.
Please come and share with us music, food and good cheer that make the season special.

Zen days are one day retreats – an abbreviated version of Yong Maeng Jong Jin. The schedule consist of sitting and walking meditation.

Retreats – Yong Maeng Jong Jin
The practice of Zen is based on meditation techniques, that were taught in Buddhism for 2500 years. The name “Yong Maeng Jong Jin” is Korean which literally means “valorous or intrepid concentration”, paraphrased “to leap like a tiger while sitting”. In the west it is a short silent retreat of two to seven days involving thirteen hours of formal meditation practice a day. Participants follow a schedule of bowing, sitting, chanting, eating, and working, with an emphasis on sitting meditation. During the retreat each participant has interviews with a Zen Master or Ji Do Poep Sa Nim.
Beginners are welcome. Here is an introduction into the forms of the Kwan Um School of Zen:

– Comfortable neutral looking clothing
– Sleeping bag (for retreats lasting for several days)
